Subject: Advent 7017 problem....

Hello all
I am new to these forums and I wanted to ask you something about a problem I am having with my laptop computer (Advent 7017)
I have had it since September and and everything was just perfect until a couple of weeks ago when it started running all sloppy and sluggish on me especially on ALL games I'm playing. I am pretty sure that overheating should be the problem. The laptop was pretty hot from day 1 but the problems occurred not until very recently.
The thing is I just checked the temperature for my laptop and it sayd that the Local Temp. is 50-55 degrees Celcius while the Remote Temp. is 65-70 constantly after I have been using it for some hours.
I wrote an email to Advent about 3 weeks ago but still have not gotten a reply.
If any of you have any ideas as to what might be the problem or any solutions whatsoever they would be greatly appreciated as I am pretty helpless at the moment.
