Subject: solo 9100

hi, i have a gateway 2000, solo 9100 that will not show nothing on the lcd screen. it powers up, i can hear the hard drive and the processor running but yet no bios post comes on the screen (total blank). it has 3 slots for ram but it is empty. will that cause it to not show nothing on screen by not having any extra memory? if anyone has any info or advice/ideas i wouls be thankful. thanks again tommy
