If you haven't done so already, remove the two silver screws attached to the back hinges. Then open the laptop and tilt the LCD ALL the way back (as far as it will go). Then pry the hinges (and the speaker panel) up using a flathead screwdriver or knife. This will give you access to remove the keyboard via four or five screws along the top of the keyboard. Once under the keyboard, you can remove the remaining "phantom" screws to access the CMOS battery and motherboard.
