Well first of all, I think the 600e will not take more than a 10GB Hard disk. Be careful, clear all passwords and remember to remove the battery b/4 any operations regarding hard drives. You may need to do a bios upgrade or get a 10GB HDD.

I was not so lucky myself. In fact the 600e refuses to boot completely since then. Reporting error 163 and 161. It can't even run setup. I would like to know how you reinitialized the bios cuz I even changed the CMOS battery unsuccessfully.
