Subject: Trojan horse or hardware failure?
In reply to: Gary Davison 's message, "760 display" on 00:42:01 12/03/02 Tue

A weird "vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv" took over my Compaq Presario 720, but an online Trojan horse and virus scan yielded nothing. These out-of-control "vvvv"'s entered any open field [in browser, in email, etc.]. After 10 days my computer finally went to the Big Blue screen. R.I.P.

How do I format my hard drive and re-install Windows XP?

HELP!!!!

Thanks in advance,
glenn/manhattan
