Subject: Toshiba Satillte Pro 420

I have a Toshiba laptop....When I power it on, will work for some time and then will shut down and will not boot. It will flash the pc on light and shut down leaving only the Ac power good light on. I have been looking for a possible solution. I have had it in pieces as it is now longer warranty, and I am a tech myself. I just want to know if you ran into something that was intermitent like this and if so, what could be a possible solution, other than mother board....
