Subject: Toshiba laptop screen prob

Hey there
I have a toshiba satellite 1800. for the last few months i have been having this problem where the screen keeps turning itself off. All the power settings are set so that this should not happen. it is a completely random event, nothing specific will trigger it, but i can be in the middle of doing something and *click* off it goes.
The only way to turn it back on is by pressing the little button on the console which gets depressed when the lid closes. This is a teensy button. Then for no reason, it will turn off again, completely randomly sometime later.
I go through this dance a lot, it is very annoying.

Please help!
