Subject: Solo 2150 no beeps

I have a 2150 Im playing around with. No LCD and currently no keyboard, there is one on the way. Is there no other way to make it use a CRT instead of an LCD besides the Fn F3 command on the keyboard?
Also I hear no beeps when I power it on AT ALL. I have another chassis similar to this one as well and it doesn't beep either. Its possible that they are just set on silent start up right?
