Subject: toshiba satellite battery dies

my satellite is about a year old. 1805-0207s
and It always on connected to the cable modem. The battery doen'st hold a charge anymore ( 15 min).

I had another older satellite which i left on all the time which didn't have this problem

It says to unplug the power cord after charging which is not possible when i leave it on all the time.. Short of taking the battery out.. I see no solution. Why is the charger so stupid to can not know when to turn off the charge once the battery is 100%? It seems absurd that that they expect you to wake up every 2 hours and plug/unplug the power source. Toshiba if you're listening in.. this is a good reason to stop buying your products..
