Using Milk of Magnasia for more than 7 days is DANGEROUS. It can cause dependency for bowel movement. Basically, if you take too much you might lose your natural ability to go to the washroom and need to take something (prescriptions/herbal medications, etc.) to continue to relieve yourself. If you drink 8-10 glasses of water a day then that should help regulate yourself. Increase fiber intake and decrease sugar and starch intake. I do not recommend long time use of milk of magansia.
