I have talked to the manager at Cineplex Odeon theatre a number of times this fall to find out what they are doing. The frustrating part is, they usually don't know dates that tickets will go on sale. All their direction comes from Toronto and they usually don't know anything locally until it happens. Last year, I kept constant contact with our local theatre here to ensure I didn't miss the tickets sales. Then, one day, I just happened to check the Cineplex website and saw that tickets for Two Towers were on sale!! So, I went right down to the theatre to buy a ticket and the clerk told me that tickets for Two Towers weren't available yet. I told her that the website advertised it as being on sale....she checked the computer....and of course they were available. So, I don't hold much trust in the local theatre's information. Therefore, this year, I will be in contact with someone from Toronto to make sure I get the correct sale date. Also, I will ask if they will be showing any Extended Edition versions at our local theatre. Any info I receive will be posted on this forum......
