Subject: J/7 Competition/Challenge (of sorts)

A friend of mine gave me a copy of Nickleback's CD 'The Long Road' the other day and one song in particular has been on continual loop in my car ever since. The song is called Figured You Out and the first few verses appeal to... quirks, shall we say, in my personality *grin*

So anyway I am here to propose a challenge of sorts. Using the song lyrics provided below and if at all possible actually listening to the song (strongly recomended) write either a Uber or Classic J/7 story. It can contain a plot or not as you wish and angst and/or adult content are fine by us. GB, Susan Thompson and myself will be judging the stories and the winner will recieve an exclusive piece of fanart designed by GB (Ive requested it be nice and sexy).

Now you will have until the 5th of July to submit any stories and I will give you the email addy for submissions next week. Also Im hoping to have some space to post the entries by then as well.

Remember you will need the usual disclaimers in place and content warnings. And a note from the judges... beta readers are a great resource!

Good luck

Snowolf

Figured You Out

I like your pants around your feet
And I like the dirt that's on your knees
And I like the way you say please
While you're looking up at me
You're like my favorite damn disease

And I love the places that we go
And I love the people that you know
And I love the way you can't say "No"
Too many long lines in a row
I love the powder on your nose

And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out

Now I did, you wonder why
I like the freckles on your chest
And I like the way you like me best
And I like the way you're not impressed
While you put me to the test

I like the white stains on your dress
I love the way you pass the check
And I love the good times that you wreck

And I love your lack of self respect
While you're passed out on the deck
I love my hands around your neck

And I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out

Now I did, you wonder why
Why not before, you never tried
Gone for good, and this is it

I like your pants around your feet
And I like the dirt that's on your knees
And I like the way you still say please
While you're looking up at me
You're like my favorite damn disease

And I hate the places that we go
And I hate the people that you know
And I hate the way you can't say "No"
Too many long lines in a row
I hate the powder on your nose

And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out

Now I did, you wonder why
Why not before, you never tried
Gone for good, and this is it
