This song is one of my top 10 favorite songs by the Carpenters. It has such an uplifting feeling about it. The song brings joy to me. I always felt it should have been released as a single. It was the flip side of Only Yesterday.In those days,I remember the song was hard for me to catch the rhythm, but later, I understood it and liked it.

It's one of those great feel good songs. When I want to feel upbeat and happy I listen to "Happy", "Top Of The World", "Sing", "Love Is Surrender", "Only Yesterday", "Jambalaya" and "Sailing On The Tide". *note to RickHenry: I really like the picture of the ad for The Carpenters First Television Special that you posted on the HOME page on THE CARPENTERS ONLINE.

It was a hit here, everybody loved the ending part with that "instrument" reaching high note. It was really great! and Yes catchy too!!!!!!!!!. This Champaign was to introduce the " Clubinhos ", a kind of boys to delievery newspapper to the your home... They did use teh last 30" of the song in this commercial... Only curiosity !! The same " O Globo" Newspapper did use the song " Flat Baroque " in other TV commercial ( Late 1974 ) to comemorate its 50 Years.... It´s very special for all Brazilian Carpenters fans...and certainly all around the world too...
