Karen Carpenter was a gifted singer with such a beautiful and soothing voice. Hers is the finest female voice of all time. She had such a clean, crystal-clear voice. She hit each and every note perfectly. She sang with such emotion and conviction. She was, and still is, genuinely admired. Her passing was indeed a heart-felt tragedy. Nevertheless, in death she has become immortal and shall live on forever in the hearts and ears of those that loved her. God Bless Karen Carpenter.

Karen has been refered to as "The Voice Of An Angel" and she really was and is that voice of an angel for many reasons. She had such a beautifully crystal clear voice that could just make your heart jump with an array of emotions. Her voice was both joyful and mournful at the same time. It was the combination of dark and light which made Karen very special. Along with having the best female voice of all-time she was also a genuinely nice person. The people who knew her really liked her. She was a true one of a kind.

Karen's voice is a very special part of my life. There just aren't many singers like Karen. Her voice was sincere and pure. She sang with so much intensity and emotion. As Sammy stated her voice was both light and dark. She had the ability to put an enthusiastic energy into an upbeat pop tune like "Top Of The World" or "Please Mr. Postman" and than turn around and sing an heartwrenching soulful ballad like "Solitaire" or "This Masquerade". Her voice was natural with much texture and depth. Karen receives my vote as finest female singer of all-time.
