Remember John Bettis? Iwonder what he's been doin lately? I know that he co-wrote Human Nature by Michael Jackson, Crazy For You by Madonna, and a couple of songs recorded by barry manilow. I think he should be among the best lyricists of all time..........

I think he also co-wrote a song The Pointer Sisters recorded. I can't remember which song it was, though.

He is a great lyricist. "Top Of The World" has a great message in it's words. "Goodbye To Love" is pure genius. "Only Yesterday" which is my favorite of Carpenters songs features lyrics written by John Bettis.

So sorry guys. The song was "Slow Hands". He co-wrote it with michael clark.......I just check my old LP of the pointer sisters
