I have heard every song you've listed, with the exception of I Want to Hold Your Hand, Eleanor Rigby, Every Little Thing.
Wasn't the Carpenters' recording of "Eleanor Rigby" destroyed in a fire at the Osborne home? I think I read that somewhere.

There was a fire. It's stated in Coleman's book in the footnote on page 59. It's also mentioned in the liner notes for the song "Nowhere Man" on the "As Time Goes By" disc. The fire happened in late 1974 after Joe Osborn and his family moved to Nashville.

Speaking of influences jazz drummer Buddy Rich is mentioned as one of Karen's influences.
