The CT700 is the only one of the Calcutta family I really do not care for. Large heavy frame, relatively small spool. If you have time, wait a month or so and check out the Penn 975 which will hold as much line as the CT700, has a frame only marginally larger than the Penn 965, casts like a rocket and has a stronger and more durable drag than the Calcutta. That's just my opinion.
