I am so glad that this whole string is very relevent to FISHING.

Little reminder: This is not ALLCOAST! (we are a nice happy cheery, uplifting crowd of FISHERMEN).

HD, Dave and i greatl enjoyed your piece. I write everyday, and was very impressed.

As for FISHING NEWS:

I got back late Saturday night from a one day trip to San Clemente Island. We (PACIFCIA) left friday night at 1000 and went straight to Castle Rock (NW SCI), as we already had three tanks of live squid. The morning was slow, really slow there for a while, giving me time to find, and fix the water leak in the center main's cooling system. However, in the afternoon Guy decided to stay a little bit later; It paid off.

We had a really good stop near the 9 fathom spot, for good numbers (60) on nice size (2-7#) Calico bass, and 80 other assorted junk fish (sheephead, whitefish, and perch). We ended up at the dock a little bit after 1030pm.

The trip was a good one. We had a great group of customers, and a solid crew. Pacifica is scheduled to run open party just about every saturday. Yesterday's trip was only $65.

So here is you chance to:
Fish with the infamous POSYDON (me)
Go out and fishing, because you haven't gone in a while,
from the sounds of some your posts, some of you really
to get out and get the fresh air.
Stock up your freezer with Calico Bass.
Come argue with me in person over what is a fair tip.
Top reason: Because you love to fish!

Pacifica is running out of Long Beach Marina Sportfishing (Los Alamitos Bay). You can access the landings site through the link here at WCA to "Long Beach Marina Sportfishing.
