The whole world is talking about the giant lava lamp. {Quote from ABC} Brent says. "That's what makes this totally unique, and it's getting people talking all over the world."

For centuries and centuries world over people have talked about the comical. Mother Nature outwits us all. She is the true lasting attraction in the world. Naturalists see the world thru different eyes. They do not favor cluttering up the landscape and sky with a towering man-made glass bottle that costs $25 Million or any other plastic idea that is obtrusive to the envirement. People with inner beauty can see beauty everywhere in nature. They also rely less on money to fill them.

The first great Christian naturalist was St. Frances. Frances looked upon nature and said, paradise must be just like this. Do not seek anything more, that is enough for the soul of man, enough and more than enough. Hear the words of Christ. "Look at the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or gather in into barns, yet your heavenly father feeds them.... Think of the flowers growing in the fields, they never have to work or spin, yet I assure you that not even Solomon in all his regalia was robed like one of these."
- Matthew, Ch. 6. St.Francis is known as the Saint of Birds, his statue can be seen in many beautiful gardens. He is the bird's protector. Think how many thousands of birds will be KILLED if you build that towering glass lava lamp. Beautiful birds will die. Each and every day their blood will be on your hands.

Birds are God's creation. Meister Eckhart said, God loves all creatures equally and fills them with His being, and we should lovingly meet all creatures the same way. Apprehend God in all things, for God is in all things. Every single creature is full of God and is a book about God.  Every creature is a word of God. If I spent enough time with the tiniest of creatures, even a caterpillar, I would never have to prepare a sermon, so full of God is every creature.
Hildegard of Bingen said, There is no creature that does not have a radiance. Holy persons draw to themselves all that is earthly. I welcome every creature of the world with grace. Julian of Norwich said, God's goodness fills all his creatures. All creatures of God's creation that can suffer pain suffered with him. The sky and the earth failed at the time of Christ's dying because he, too, was a part of nature. Those who have universal love for all their fellow Christians in God have love towards everything that exists. Mechtild of Magdelburg said. The truly wise person kneels at the feet of creatures, And is not afraid to endure the mockery of others.

The mission of Audubon California is to conserve and restore California's natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.
By connecting people with nature, Audubon California will be the leader in creating a powerful California voice for the environment, deeply rooted in and broadly drawn from all parts of our population.
By informing and involving people with nature where they live, Audubon California will equip the people of California to actively and effectively conserve their ecological heritage.

SAVE THE BIRDS. The birds are worth remembering. Flight is a wonder and one wing-tip a space marvel. When will man know what birds know. SAVE THE BIRDS.
