De Nada! Brings tears to my eyes. You mean us peace loving counter creatures have to bow to those anti-abortionists. The giant lava lamp brings back wonderful memories. The memorable layed-back nights sitting in those funky 60s drive-ins eating one carmel sundae after another while downing a couple of chocolate skakes with four big straws topped of by a brick-load of those yummy dark brown Oreo Cookies that we downed with a large Green River on top of six Cherry Cokes gotta be preserved. You mean it is like...busted flat. That's a fine howdy.

Re: $25 MILLION DOLLAR GIANT SOAP LAKE LAVA LAMP IS A LAVISH EXPENDITURE!!!! -- Barbra, 15:17:00 11/22/02 Fri
Source: A growing Cancer by Doug Patton. "It is not axiomatic that government must grow, but it will continue to do so - at all levels - unless and until the electorate awakens to the reality that every new program costs us money, and every new law deprives us of a little more freedom."

Lavish? Yes. A Science fiction writer might call it extraneous, extravagant, extraterritorial, extrapolated, hypothetical and based on a mirage erupting from some kind of hysteria. I agree taxpayers need to awaken to the reality that every new program does cost them money.

Barbra....what about cutting costs and creative fiance, would that change your mind? I propose they cut the vertical beacon and replace it with a giant musical box or 50s nickelodeun. This will save the cost of a beacon, reduce the light bill and when the tourists climb to the top they can put $50 bucks in a slot and dance to looney tunes. Is that far out Barbra or what? I just got that magnificent brain flash after eating soured yogurt and some home-canned dill pickles I put up in the 50s. To be perfectly honest Barbra, the jar's lid looked rather bulgy.
