That boat has been on the hard for a very long time, and I think that the ballast is cast iron because has cracks at the bottom of the keel in 2-3 places where the wooden blocks were holding and you could see the rust dripping out. Than they did the bottom paint and put her in the water but I don't know if they fixed the cracks in the keel. That is most important but the problems don't end there. She has soft deck in several places and the interior needs a lot of work. If the keel is done properly I think you would sink 20Gs in her and a lot( I mean a lot ) of work if you do it yourself. Personally I wouldn't pay for her and think twice if taking her for Free. Think about, tanks, chain plates, electrical , plumbing, interior, decks, bowsprit, sails, running riging etc.
This is my opinion

You can place a pole threw the table from the keel to the ceiling and it's done.

I'd already bought the boat by the time you posted.

Ah, well -- she's mine now and I'll let you know how much of a project she really is. I was expecting somewhat at what she cost, so we'll see.

And everything doesn't have to be done at once -- and only enough to go sailing. :)

Thanks for sharing your information. If you know anything else about her, I'll appreciate it.

Cheers,
Jan
