Subject: Mariner 32, Ryokosha (Hull No. 1), for sale

After many tens of thousands of dollars in refit and precious little time sailing, I've reluctantly come to the conclusion that I've got to sell Ryokosha. I tried to list her on the Mariners For Sale, but have gotten no response, so I'll try here. Any suggestions welcome.

Recent extensively and professionally refit classic Japanese-made (Hull #1) fiberglass ketch, in Sausalito CA. New: standing and running rigging, headsail and furler, cockpit teak overlay, dodger, canvas, electrical panel, wiring, head and hoses, chartplotter, vhf, paint, varnish. Has Perkins 4-108, SSB, radar, wind, solar, 300 ft chain, windlass, 2 anchors, Force 10 stove, A-B fridge, davits, main, mizzen, staysail, trysail, spinnaker, shade canvas, 6-3 headroom, solid mahogany joinery below. Great lines; in Good Old Boat Jan. 2014. Outstanding Mexico boat. See Craig's List for pictures http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/boa/5032683535.html.

I believe my boat "Cactus Tree" was featured in Good Old Boat in January of 2014, written by Micheal Robertson.
"Cactus Tree", is still for sale in San Carlos Mexico.

Doug, I absolutely love your boat. Have for a long time. Unfortunately I'm still finishing up my degree and am not in a position to make you an offer. If I could I would have a long time ago. I routinely come to the sight to see who is talking about it. I've talked a bit with Don about the couple spots of delamination and without having had a surveyor go over her, it all sounds manageable. For now though I'm just stuck in the eddy of right boat, wrong time being the wrong boat. As soon as that changes (and its not too late) you'll be the first to know. I'll keep my eyes on yatchworld for any changes.
