Subject: 31 Mariner in N Carolina a few YEARS back . [oops]

This is a LONG shot and thanks for looking .
I am looking for a Mariner 31 that was for sale about 3 years ago .
The owner had passed away and a friend of the widow was trying to sell for her.
It was anchored in N. Carolina .
Possibly New Bern ] [CRS Syndrom]
[I know ,I know ,not much info ]
It had a newly rebuilt perkins and was listed at $ 6,000 .
Should have bought it then.
This seems like a tight knit group in regards to the Mariners ,so , anyone have any info at all ?
Thanks again, very much for your time ,
David C. in Ocean Springs, MS

I was very interested in that boat and spoke with the friend of the widow about it. He emailed me some photos and I was preparing to fly back there and buy it but then I came across Independence for sale in Salt Lake City which I ended up buying for $1,500. Can't imagine that it would still be for sale. Sorry to say I don't have any of the info as it was on an old computer that was retired. Good deals on Mariners come up often. Keep looking and good luck.
Dan

It is "Yankee Girl II".

We don't know if it's still owned by the same owners which we have on record, but it IS "Yankee Girl II", the boat you are talking about.

[> 4 years ago -- Greg Gisler, - Wednesday - 11/11/09 - 11:59am

I bought a mariner 31 hull # 121 in Oriental NC, not far from New Bern in december of 2005 was listed with triton yachts in oriental for more than 6,000, if thats the one you are looking for I have it located in Columbia, SC. I have been working on it for the last 4 years and am nearing the end of its restoration, just need to find the right portholes.
