i'm coming home tomarrow for a month and from what i know and have been hearing and reading, home is not something i am thrilled about coming back to. why is everything all messed up? why is everyone fighting and taking sides? why is one person better than the rest? and why are we falling apart? i don't know much for certain because i have been away from all you guys and your environment, but i do know that things are different. different from when i was there, different from this summer. how can so much change in three months? God was rocking it at tri- city this summer. he was alive in us and we were alive through him. we supported each other and encouraged each other and challenged each other. if someone was struggling we picked them up and pushed them forward. we were not afriad to say what god was telling us and we were not afraid to step out and go deeper. we were bnot afraid to be real and to show our true colors. we had a bond, and maybe we didnt see it until now because it wasnt being challened. but now we are being challenged. so poeple have left. mark is not here to lead us, others have walked away, but that doesnt mean we have to also. if one leader leaves it leaves room for someone else to take initiative. it doesnt mean that we roll over and die and fight with one another in the process. everyone is becoming selfish and its all about them, and where they are going and what they are doing. what ever happened to what god is doing and where god is taking us? all of us, not just some. god works through us, not the other way around, so why are poeple so caught up with what "they" are doing and what "they" know. because all they know is what god tells them, its not about us! its about Him! we can be real with one another, we can be authentic, we can conquer conflict and issues, and we can once agian support, challenge, encourage, and push each other. are you willing to step forward, to take initiative, and to do something about it? we are all one team, the team cannot function without all of its players, are you willing to be dedicated to our team?
