 My view as a general rock n roll fan is that Bopper had the misfortune, or fortune really, to be in the 1959 plane crash. What would he be known for beyond this? A one-hit wonder with a novelty song, it has been established here that he was not a creator of the first promotional videos. He possibly could have gone on to be an oft covered songwriter as in Running Bear, but all this about being a groundbreaking or influential artist is grasping at straws.
