Folks who design novelty merchandise usually aren't the most tasteful people. So if they were tasked with creating Buddy Holly collectables, I would expect a million hokey products with the goofy "finger snapping" photo.

I mean, the current decision makers are the same guys who had the poor taste to name their enterprise "Bonanza."

Can't we just enjoy the music, without turning Holly into Mickey Mouse?
