 Johnny Kidd and the Pirates gave it a good go in the UK in 1960 with 'Shakin all Over'...a number one hit, that didn't do much elsewhere......a great track IMO,but as said, authentic UK R&R was very thin on the ground at that time...they were apparently an excellent live band too, but they sank without trace within a couple of years.
