With all due respect, Kevin, you are incorrect.
Two things here. If there was fuel in the fuel tank after the crash, it would have been noted in the final report.
It is obvious that the fuel was dispersed during the lengthy cartwheeling and tumbling from the point of impact to the final resting place of the very crumbled, ripped, and torn wreckage. the fuel, by the laws of physics, was spilled onto the cold, wet ground, gradually, along the route of said tumbling. Was it 540 yards or feet? I can't remember. It's been awhile since I read the report. I think it was 540 feet. Almost 2 1/2 times the length of a football field.
