 Bill G stated his famous rock musician friends would stop by. It never happened, it was always about his Holly research.

For 11 years this has remained on life support with the few conversations being about the handful of the same Holly topics repeatedly. Take a look at the headers. What gets response? Holly topics.

Realistically the unique posters have likely dwindled to a dozen or so. What is left beyond these handful of topics? Obituaries. Who's left? Just a few, and that includes the posters. J.I., Sonny, Ramona, Larry.

What do you expect, really? The 1950s posters are in appropriate groups on Facebook where people have to post using their own names, not on Voy. If you want to dazzle with trivia or obits, that would be the best place to go.

It is not about 1950s music as much as some would think or like it to be, it was and always will be a Buddy Holly board. The handful of gripers can go to that other board and be pissy there. If you want to vent and ferment, they will gladly welcome a new poster over there.

Again, minimal audience and obsolete. There will be no new revelations here. A book to complain about. A movie to complain about. A new CD to complain about.

Bill's magazines were all things '50s. This board never was and never will be.
