I was trying to make the (simple) point that previous 'stereo' attempts with Buddy's music were just illusions of stereo
by various methods such as mixing together undubbed and dubbed versions of the same track, i.e. they are not really stereo at all

This new technology can't be compared to that, it is being referred to as 'de-mixing' and I believe it was pioneered
by the film maker Peter Jackson whilst preparing The Beatles Get Back multi part documentary series.

The recordings are NOT simulated stereo they are true stereo albeit not recorded with stereo mics etc as they are of
course over 60 years old

But they do sound amazing.

I think we are largely in agreement here though.
