 The Clear Lake movie seems to be in limbo.

The original director was supposed to be Bruce Beresford. But Beresford was dropped from the project. The producers told him they wanted to go in a different direction, and so they hired Mario Van Peebles.

Van Peebles made some changes to the script. That's the last I've heard.

I didn't particularly like the casting. The guy they wanted to play Holly is too old for the part and he looks nothing like him.

I somehow doubt this movie will be made, at least not with this current production company.
