Correction on what I said in a prior post: Lauren did use Newspeak before she responded to Steph...however she didn't use it in such a blatantly sarcastic manner.

Secondly...Josh, do what I did and go back and look at the thread. See who lambasted whom. Lauren said "eew!." Whereupon she was lambasted by Steph--called names, and told that she needed to go to a tolerance class. She wasn't the one who took this whole discussion _ad hominem._ She stated an opinion, and the first response she got was hardly what I would call "diplomatic" or "respectful disagreement." "Vitriol" comes to mind, though.
