 第一，如果人真的沒有靈魂，即是說人完全由人身體內的化學物或是某種物理現象所控制，是不是？
如果真的如此，那麼所有人看到外間的事物就會有所反應，而釋出一定的化學物；那麼人所做的事情就是由一種化學物所控制；那麼我們愛別人或是對事物的好惡又歸咎於化學反應。生活真的會有趣嗎？我們不就可以把某化學品打進身體，根本不需要活在世上。
第二，基於以上對人身的假設，雙生兒能夠感到兄弟姊妹的感覺又如何解釋？化學物可不能選擇性的傳播。
我個人認為人是由半化學物及半靈魂主宰的，可是靈魂在這裡是指人活著的思想，生時有靈魂的存在不等於死後也會存在。
真田幸村君將兩個概念混淆了，雖然宗教大多數都承認靈魂的存在，無神論者是否定的神－一個最高主宰者或創造者－的存在，而不是對靈魂的抹殺。宗教是解決人生在世時的精神問題及人死後何去何從的其中一種方法，亦是人除了自己家人、伴侶和朋友的一個依靠，先仙成佛乃是其次，要超渡的仍是在生的人。
