This does sound like withdrawals...which would make sense with the timing you described. The dose you were given is not uncommon for bronchitis (my dad has been given that more then once...) One way to fight the withdrawals are to drink PLENTY of fluids (like you fight the flu)...try to flush steroids out of your system. Your body is reacting like it is dehydrated, hence the muscle achey feeling/woozy. As for the fevers, you may want to go back to your doc to make sure you don't still have an infection going on because prednisone DOES make it harder to fight infections and you may still need to be on antibiotics (if still not on them).

Please know that this DOES GET BETTER! It may take a little time, but it will ease up! You were not on it for long...but steroids can last in your system for a while. In my experience, it takes about a week for the worst of the withdrawals to pass, then it eases up...
