Oh Kla,

Yes, I am going to say that I am pretty sure your problems are withdrawals from steroids. I am sorry you having such a rough time of it with no support. Is there any way that you can find an endochronologist to help you while you wean down. They will also be able to run the proper blood work to make sure that you are not having adrenal crisis issues (which I don't think you are, just to be sure). Those tests are an ACTH and an AM cortisol level. Both tests check to make sure that the adrenal glands are working properly. You certaintly are weaning down slowly...and there is NOTHING wrong with that!! It is HEALTHY to wean down slowly...

I definitely understand about the headaches...I get them too...they are like mini-migraines (because they don't last a long time, but are just as intense). Itches and dry skin are also side effects of weaning down. I use a cream that is sold at Bath and Body Works in the US (I don't know if they have one down under :) ). Try to get a cream that is for sensitive skin with either soy or oatmeal...NO STEROID!

Hope you find some relief soon!! Just allow yourself to feel yucky for a while...your body WILL adjust to this dose!!

Much love/hugs/well wishes!

Ivy
