This DO thinks he can help me get more lung function, but I will never be "normal", but anything more would help. I will let you all know if the Cortef really helps with reducing. It's cheap and if it helps it might be worth asking your doctors. Remember though that my doctor is alternative and most mainstream docs. are not really into alternative meds. I will keep you all posted. I take Cortef 2 days
before I start my wean. I will try going down 1 mg.
every 7 days if I can handle it. He is not on any set
schedule. He wants me to do what I can handle. If it
takes all summer to get off this stuff then that what
it takes, but I am going to go for it.
