Hi Ivy,
Thank you for the speedy reply. I appreciate your advice and since I see your name so much on this message board I suppose you are a respected authority..so it really means a lot to me. Thanks..

Not happy to hear it takes so long for the steroids to leave and let my body return to its normal state...But I guess I'd rather know what to expect. I am frustrated because I have been suffering from medical problems for about 2-3 years on-going now (had a discectomy, 4 neck discs, with bone graft and plate in my neck last August, an accidental overdose of muscle relaxants in March, the sarcoid episode in April, and just recently had my an infected gall bladder removed about 3 weeks ago). I am 30 years old and had just started my career when all this began. I am engaged, but marriage/life plans are on hold because of all my medical problems. I see my friends getting married, having kids, etc...thats what I expected...not this - stuck at home, not working, feeling lousy, in and out of hospitals...and it just seems to go on and on...depsair I guess.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to respond, I really appreciate your concern. I'll try to drop a note again.

Alexis
