Leslie and all:

Thank you for reminding me that we all have a lot to be thankful for. I have had a hard day. I am not feeling well and wondering if I have reduced my steriods too much. I have been feeling sorry for myself all day long even though we had a really nice time with my parents. I think I have mentioned before that my Dad had open heart surgery about 3 weeks ago. He is doing fantastic. That's really something to be thankful for. I have the absolutely best husband in the world and a 3 yr. old son that I adore. I have friends that pray for me and I have new friends from this board that pray for me and support me. I have my faith that makes it possible to make through each day. What more could I ask for? You are right this is a day to celebrate. Each day is one more day that we get to be with the people we love and that love us.

I agree that when you are hurting it's hard to be upbeat and thankful, but Leslie is right we all have to look at life with a different perspective. We have to "expect" miracles and let God do the rest.

Thank you all for all of your love, support, and prayers. I pray for all of you daily. Have a wonderful evening and catch some fireworks for me. I am tired and I am going to bed to dream of running and dancing with my son. That's my dream Leslie - to run and play with Sammy. I will do that again, God willing!

God Bless to you all!

Karen
