Subject: Happy 4th of July

I Just wanted to wish a happy 4th of July to everyone.
It's hard to feel happy when you are in pain or when you
don't see an end to problems in sight. But it is important to see the glass half full. (sometimes I .can't even see the glass <g> I am learning to say things the way I want them to be instead of how they are. By putting my focus on the way I want them to be I'm hopeful that that draws the things I want to me and gives energy to my dreams. That doesn't mean everything will be different but I am different so I am better able to control the frustration and emotions that are negative. I still believe the power of prayer, a good sense of humor and people that understand are the keys to dealing with things that are far too big or unpredictable for me to fix. I'm 55 and I have just now in the last year discovered what works for me to help through the bad times.I'm sending prayers for better health to Ivy, Big Ma, Kia, Karen, Becki and everyone on this board.
Remember to hold on to your dreams. This message board can be used for venting and also for dreaming and support.
Since this is Independence day why don't we turn this day into a day of dreams and freedom from the thoughts and realities of our problems. I'd love to see what each of you come up with for your dream day.
Hugs & Love
Leslie
