Hi Tiffany,
It is not easy to walk in faith when reality and steroids breed fear and anxiety. terrorists would make it easy to walk in fear but I choose to walk in Faith. It's kind of funny how when things are too big I give them to God to handle, when really He had them all along. I realized that I can get paralized by fear making no move because I'm afraid. So I make an concerted effort when fear is hovering to remind myself to walk in Faith and not in fear. Fear is human but it is also putting faith in evil. I try to remember to put my Faith in God (He is A FEAR Breaker) and walk in faith as if I knew everything will be alright. Even when the things I want don't happen I still have ended up alright. Since God knows the future and I don't He knows when or if to answer my prayers. Wasn't it a Garth Brooks song that talked about unanswered prayers sometimes being a blessing? I think that is true. Just to give an example of how God saved my life the other day. I had a blow out Tuesday and just had gotten off the freeway. My husband and I parked in front of a bunch of houses. We could have been so upset, we had loaned our jack to my sister and only had a small doughnut tire as a spare. But I looked and saw the glass half full. I had made it to the place I could walk from, the houses we parked in front of were kind people who offered refreshment and gave us a jack. If the tire (which was in shreds) would have done that when we were going 55 miles an hour who knows what would have happened? God did! We made it safely and I believe God Guided our way. For those that don't believe in God there is scientific data to prove that those who do live longer, don't know why just a fact to consider. Just like men that are married tend to live longer.
Whoever one calls God, believing in God does ease stress.
The strength one can get from Faith, whether you believe in God or not faith is powerful. I'm glad you find strength from an unlimited and eternal supply.
God Bless
Leslie
