The last 5 mgs are hell. But your adrenals will never kick in on 2 mgs of Pred, they'll just stay suppressed. Hydrocortisone (Cortef) is just like the cortisol your body makes, and is less toxic. It might be worth adding it, then tapering off the Prednisone.
