Lori, I live in NY and I had to fly to Los Angeles for a good endocrinologist for Cushing's if that gives you any idea of how slim the pickings are.
Steroid use can cause Cushing's tumors, I've read, and that's apparently what happened to me, with adrenal hyperplasia, too.
you can try looking up the helpful doctors list at www.cush-help.org and see if anyone is in your area, but if you're serious about evaluation, you usually have to go to LA or Seattle. :-/
