Ok...step one to feeling better: take a nice, SLOW, DEEP BREATH! You will be ok! Think of the anxiety as the medication leaving your system. Please remember that the lower you go, the longer it takes for the withdrawals to dissipate. It is like your adrenal glands are going "hey, wait a minute, we like that stuff so we don't have to work". It kind of freaks them out, which is why you FEEL so freaked out. So do some nice, quiet, relaxation exercises that will calm your mind and ease your fears! Visualizations work well for me when I am going through the worst of the anxiety. I try to picture my adrenal glands, sitting on top of my kidneys, I talk to them, quietly, about how once they start working again, things will be so much easier on the body. I kind of give my body a pep talk. When I am done, I am usually much more relaxed and at peace with my body. Don't expect changes over night. They will come, slowly, but they WILL GET BETTER!!!
