Subject: Need prayers for my daughter

I have spent most of the day between the ER and a RUMMY with my daughter. She is so very sick, she can hardly move at all. All I can say is that God sent us to Dr. Thurman at Skyline Medical Center. I hope he has gotten to the bottom of the problem. He just kept repeating that she was a VERY sick young lady over and over. She has RA, and she has so much inflammation, her neck...spine is completely straight from severe muscle spasms in her back, shoulders and neck pulling everything down. He X-Rayed her from head to toe, every single joint and showed us a normal neck X-Ray, and it has a curve...hers was straight as an arrow. She has had muscle spasms like I have never seen before. She looks just awful, I have cried all the way home and driving at night with my eyes, the lights gave me a migraine like you wouldn't believe. Anyway, the main inflammatory med I went to Walgreen's and Eckerds, neither even carry it, period and he wants the brand name, no generics. They told me her BC BS will not pay for it and it is more than $400.00 and with her out of work they are in dire straights. I bought all her other meds for her and another heating pad. I'll get the other as soon as we find it. They are calling the Dr tomorrow to see what he suggest. I just can't stand seeing her like this. She has had Epilepsy for 17 years, and my poor baby has just suffered too much! She still has more test and the rummy is getting with her neurologist at Vanderbilt to consult with her tomorrow. Please pray for her and their family, Mike her husband, Devin and Dustin, her 2 sons. They are in financial disaster because of her being off work and all the medication she has had to get so far. I just pray we have located the root of the problem. He feels she will be 85% better in 2-3 weeks on this med. He did add 5 mgs prednisone as a booster to it, said it was the equivalent of 36 aspirins in each dose, put her on Nexium twice a day to protect the stomach. I have been afraid it was Lupus because of the butterfly rash on her face, which I took pictures of before we went to the ER. I'll post those tomorrow. I haven't eaten a bite all day and have got to get this migraine and all of my pain under control. I held it together until I started to drive home and I just lost it. I may be off the board some tomorrow helping her as she can't drive right now and Mike just cannot afford to miss work.
