As to what Heidi said...Imuran does have a tendency to be harder on the tummy as it has to be broken down into 6-mp in the liver. 6-mp tends to work more "naturally" in the body, so it SUPPOSEDLY has less tummy side effects. I did have nausea for about 3 weeks on the med, but it was controlled by zofran. ALSO...I forgot to mention this in my last post...if you start taking the Imuran or 6-mp take folic acid...it will cut down the severity of the mouth sores/nausea stuff.
