Subject: Remember me?

Hi everyone,
I've been thinking about you all but haven't had time to chat. I've been back to work fulltime about 6 mos. it has been tough but worth it. I am just recovering from my first significant asthma attack in over a year. I spent 3 weeks on inhaled steroids, but no pred! Which brings up a new question: during the 3wks on the inhaled stuff I had the bottom of a front tooth disentergrate. I'm facing some major work on it; it just dissolved! It was like the bone in my arm last year. I know steroids are the cause, but I never thought about a tooth! I have another question: does anyone know anything about the disability act? I've run into a problem at work. I went back to the same office but at a lesser job for less pay. I could live with that, but I'm involved in a bigger mess. I lost 7.5 years senority because of 3 years of illness. I now park 2 blocks from the office in an uncovered lot because I'm a "newbie". People that were hired years after me have closer parking places. There is a new parking garage attached to our building but I can't park there. When my manager "explained" all this to me, I told her fine- but if I wasn't breathing I would do what I had to. I parked in the closest garage for 3wks because I couldn't walk into the building without stopping to catch my breath. I took my nebulizer to work but kept working. I was counceled last week for parking there. No offer was made to help me. My lung dr was furious! He wrote a rather terse letter for me to pass on to whoever I want. He will also say something to my boss when he sees him in the hallway at the hospital. My boss/surgeon doesn't have a clue. This has been all my office manager. I don't know what to do. Anyone have ideas? It's good to be back!
