I agree, large doses of steroid can make your heartbeat get out of sync. I go fast I go slow It is irreg and flutters. Have they put you on an event monitor to see if you are having irregular heartbeats when you have your pain? also gi stuff can cause the same thing. I have been cathed 3 times and it is clear but the steroids cause the sugar and chol to become elevated so it is only a matter of time. I would ask for workup to make sure you are not in afib or something.
