I saw my lung dr today. He was extremely happy with my lungs. I'm officially off all the extra asthma meds. I'm only on albuterol and xolair. He was alot less happy with my parking saga. My office manager won't do anything to help; security had no ideas, other than see if someone with a "good" spot would be willing to trade.(yeah right, I'm will also be a foot taller tomarrow). The site manager told me that anyone could get a letter from their dr.(My pulmo LOVED that one!) My dr had a very mischevious look in his eye at that point. He is going to write another letter to the head honcho at StV's. One thing he mentioned was asking how my situation fits in with our mission statement of compassion and care for others! I don't qualify for a handicapped sticker. Even with half a lung gone I'm not on O2, I also have normal O2 sats., even at my worst they didn't drop below 95%. I just don't qualify; maybe I shouldn't have fought so hard to regain lost ground. It sure isn't apprecatied in the office....BUT, I'm still here, working, breathing, living. I'm about ready to tell my manager where she can put her parking pass. Thanks for letting me vent. becki
