Subject: Anyone have Dercum's Disease...lipomas ????

This Monday, I woke up feeling as if I had been hit by a train. Stiff as a board and pain all over. I start feeling where the pain was, and I have lumps coming up like pop corn all over my body! I had some in mu upper arms, uner arms and breast since August last year, they hurt! I have noticed for a few weeks it hurt to us my arms..the upper arms just hurt all the time, and now the blasted things are popping up everywhere. Thighs, behind my knees, now lower arms, some around my wrist, rib cage area, butt, back, groin...everywhere! So, I start searching and found Dercums. I also read of some cases being brough on my HIGH DOSES OF PREDNISONE!

I was refused on my 1st application for BCBS AccessTN, and new safty net for uninsurable people in TN. I got 2 decline letters from other Ins Companies and sent it back in and my case is under review. I haven't been back to the doctor, because of the 6 month pre-exist clause. I have showed the upper arm ones to my GP and my Endo, but this was before the things started coming out everywhere. My Endo suggested Connective Tissue Disease. WHO KNOWS! But, I wanted to see if any of you have had this problem?

((((((((( HUGS TO ALL )))))))))))))

Judy
