My weaning schedule on the higher doses was faster then I think you could do...I darn near knocked myself out on the upper doses trying to get down. I went down from 19.5 to 12.5 (but I was in the hospital to do that with fluids), then from there I dropped 10 (but I had been on 6mp for a while at that point), from there I went down by 1 mg at a time until 6 mg flared me up. I am stable on 7 right now.

I actually felt a little better while exercising and lowering my dose (well, my little walks on the treadmill anyway and stretches on the balance ball). I always found that night time was MUCH worse for me...exercise or not. When I am weaning down I drug up at night!! I take my pain meds early, nausea and muscle relaxants as early as possible so I can sleep through the night. I am usually passed out around 7:30 pm when I am lowering a dose.

I hope you get through this quickly and with the least amount of pain possible!! Keep up the exercises...it is helping you in the long run!!!

Love,

Ivy
